  • Mine Engineering maintenance production planning Superintendent Gauteng-Grade 12 National Certificate N4 with Engineering Maths and Engineering Science (NQF L5);
  • AND Trade Test Certificate (Boilermaker or Electrician or Fitter or Diesel Mechanic) OR have a C & I Technician Qualification (Trade Test Certificate (Instrumentation / Millwright) and National Certificate N4 with Engineering Maths and Engineering Science;
  • OR Have a have a National Diploma (NQF L6) Electronic Engineering; OR have a National Engineering Diploma (NQF L6) (Mechanical Engineering OR Electrical Engineering);
  • OR have a National N Diploma (NQF L6, 360 credits) PDSA Leadership Development Program or equivalent Generic Management NQF Level 5 qualification advantage but not essentialMust have Minimum of 5 years working experience in an engineering maintenance supervisory role in a related trade Computer Literacy in MS Office Suite Valid Drivers Licence This role will maintain, integrate and co-ordinate activities / projects in the area of specialisation and provide a specialist engineering maintenance management capability on the operation to ensure an optimum maintenance standard / equipment performance.

    Implement maintenance planning systems for new equipment taking into account maintenance schedules, spares requirements and labour provisioning Implement the engineering maintenance management strategy through appropriate maintenance systems, correct planner resource structures, standardisation and training Provide specialist maintenance management services across the department, analyse maintenance trends, report on repetitive failures, forecast long term planning requirements and planning assurance Responsible for engineering computerised maintenance system administration to address needs of the users in terms of enhancements, upgrades, repairs and functionality Responsible for the co-ordination of the mines asset management programme in line with guiding principles Responsible for the training and development of subordinates Responsible for the training of engineering and production teams in maintenance management theory, application and use of the system Must be able to work shifts, overtime and be able to do standby, callouts Must be willing to relocate to all areasSalary package offered : market related depending of Grading of Vacancy offered
