One of the main objectives of Global Shared Services is to strive for world class service. To achieve this objective, efficiencies and controls need to be implemented.
Similar processes isolated globally will need to be moved to the shared services environment. This new role has been formulated to achieve efficiencies, controls and consistency in the receipting process for Sage Africa and Middle East.
The incumbent will be responsible for receipting and allocating payments received in Sage’s bank accounts for Africa and Middle East.
Shared services have already initiated the process for migrating billing from the middle east office to Africa for processing.
This will ensure consistency in processes followed. As part of Excellence in Controls, Sage must ensure that the effective controls are implemented, and risk issues are mitigated.
