Position would ideally suit a female.Minimum completed B.Com (Accounting / Financial Management), coupled with 3-5 years related Accounting work experience in a large annual turnover business essential.
Be accountable for : Ensure correct account & branch allocations on income statement & balance sheetProcess monthly journalsMatch supplier payments from bank on supplier accountReview creditors reconciliationsPerform balance sheet reconciliations on all accountsReconcile Syrinx to Sage300 for stock transactionsRun period end with all relevant reportsPerform job costing calculation and do analysisPerform income statement analysisComplete & Submit monthly Tax PackReview banking details of new suppliers and refund customersReview & Release supplier payments on bankLoad & Release international payments on bankSubmit Monthly VAT returnsReconcile intercompany accountsEnsure compliance with Companies Act, VAT Act & IFRSEnsure Audit queries are dealt withMaintain Fixed Asset RegisterGeneral admin tasksAssist in stock countsGood knowledge of the VAT Act as well as IFRS;
