Education and Minimum Requirements : University / Post Graduate Degree or similar in Operations Management or EngineeringGeneral Experience : Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (15 years +) in operations, manufacturing, and warehousing 10 years experience in a senior operation and / or engineering role ideally in the chemical industryManagerial Experience : Experienced in strategic management and leadership across company functions directing substantial resources over long-time frames (8 years and up).

Set overall performance and business objectives for the unit in support of the companys business objectives.Define, develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes that will ensure alignment, excellence, and continuous improvement within the unit Profit Enablement.

Optimal configuration of unit making to enable decision making regarding best value performance (e.g. insourced / outsourced) to enable optimal value delivery in a changing environment.

Adapt to the changing environment in which the company operates taking into account regulatory changes, market changes, supplier changes, profitability target changes, etc.

Meeting and exceeding customer-defined requirements by ensuring optimal usage of infrastructure and facilities across all markets in which the company chooses to operate.

Risk Management and ControlAdvise management pro-actively on critical trends, environmental changes, financial risks, and current as well as pending legislative changes and take proactive preventative measures to ensure compliance.

Setting the tone, developing and maintaining performance, business services, and client-responsive culture within the unit, in line with the strategic and business objectives of the organization.

Evaluates Performance against plans and decides on corrective action to enhance the units performance in support of business objectives, e.

g. structural change, systems change, redeployment of people, etc.Identify, implement and manage employee development and skills transfer through various onboarding and training initiatives.

Stakeholder ManagementIdentify, build and maintain key relationships, from a financial perspective, that add value to the sustainability of the company, i.
