We are an industrial fan manufacturing company located in Spartan on the East Rand. Much of our equipment is made to meet our customers specific needs.
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join us in support of our sales team in a junior capacity and ideally suits a school leaver with technical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
You would report to the Sales Manager and assist him and his team with the day to day functioning and operation issues of the sales office. This would include :
Specifying basic equipment and costings.
Liaising with customers to gain an understanding of their requirement and when required, visit customer sites to better understand their requirement.
Providing information to customers on progress on their equipment.
Completing manufacturing instruction / requirements (job cards and additional or changed information).
Capturing information on our production management system, job registers etc.
Other related tasks as may be required by the Sales Manager Training would be provided to allow the incumbent to achieve the above, but we would also like to have a person that drives themselves to learn more and understand more about how we do things with a view to growing into our sales team.
Mandatory (applicant without these skill will immediately disqualified with no feedback)* 1. Matric pass with 60% or more for both Core Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and Science.
2. Strong English communication skills. 3. Competent with Windows computers & Microsoft Office (Most notably Excel and Word) 4.
Medically fit and willing and able to pass medical examination to enter some of our customer sites 5. Own roadworthy transport with valid driver license and prepared to travel if required (will be reimbursed for cost thereof in such event). *Advantageous skills
1. Ability to read a technical drawing and / or use CAD software. 2. Tertiary technical qualifications. 3. Strong communication in other languages.
