We have a compelling job opportunity for a talented senior Performance Marketing Manager to join the Marketing team at an unconventional financial company in Cape Town.

The goal of the business is to provide investment products and solutions that empower their clients to save more and reach better long-term investment outcomes.

Your job is focused on growing the customer base by continuing to develop and establish a strong customer acquisition and sales growth plan through various online performance marketing channels.

You will need a proven track record developing and leading a performance-based strategy that aligns with and contributes to the overall business objectives.

You will be required to develop and implement campaigns to enhance the customer journey and drive customer acquisition; whilst consistently reviewing and analysing the performance to identify potential opportunities across the acquisition funnel.

You must be well organised, capable of managing multiple priorities, and operate in the detail and at a strategic level. In addition, you are analytical by nature and experienced in iterating your way to setting and achieving goals.

You will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work alongside the Marketing Manager to provide cohesive growth strategies and campaigns across the conversion funnel.

In addition, you will be required to collaborate effectively across teams and various levels of the business, such as Operations, Sales and Client Experience.

ResponsibilitiesDay to day management of the digital marketing requirements of the business; drive the growth and acquisition strategy across channelsTweak strategies by evaluating the KPIs of all marketing channels to determine and make necessary adjustments to optimise effectivenessUnderstand the audience leverage customer insights to better segment, target and reach potential customersCreate maximum engagement across digital consumer touchpointsSet goals, manage and optimise campaigns, and report to senior management regarding performance trackingEstimation and allocation of budgets, targeting and segmentation, evaluation of the performance of each channel, and forecasting the performance of campaignsHighly analytical reporting with commentary relevant to both CMO and wider business stakeholdersWebsite tracking and analytics building reports and dashboards to track the performance of marketing efforts effectively and ensuring necessary tracking events are in place to measure all the key metrics, events and user engagement on the company websitesProduce regular and insightful reporting that provides the Management Team with a clear situational analysis and solutions-oriented directionPresent key acquisition performance matters to the Management Team.

RequirementsThe successful candidate must have / be : Industry relevant DegreeAn experienced Performance Marketing Manager with at least 5 years in developing and implementing proven acquisition strategiesPrevious experience in a similar Performance Marketing roleFinancial services experience would be highly beneficialDisplay leadership skills and the desire to motivate and develop a teamHighly driven with quick decision-making skills to help strategise and execute large campaignsThorough knowledge of the following management tools : Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Hotjar / similar, SegmentAble to juggle between multiple projects, be able to prioritise, meet deadlines and communicate effectivelyAbility to understand and monitor web analytics dashboards and reporting tools in order to manage campaigns, monitor reports, budgets, ROI and channel metricsResourceful and demonstrate a thorough understanding of key performance metrics on various channelsSource and implement keywords, measure keyword performance and optimise campaigns accordinglyAble to develop hypotheses and perform A / B testing to inform strategies and optimisationCurious to ensure you keep abreast of emerging technologies and developments in the digital industryAn understanding of financial services and online customer journeys for investing would be handyA proven track record of driving resultsSelf-directed, take initiative and demonstrate leadershipExperts at DOING, you don’t only talk but also executeAnalytical, decisive, and drivenCurious.
