They are seeking to employ a general manager with consolidated experience in an industrial company. Duties & Responsibilities With a constant growth over the last 15 years, developing their structure in South Africa and establishing their brand as a leader in the market, the time has come to find the successor of the current General Manager who will soon be retiring.
We are looking for a person with strong technical knowledge to understand fundamental aspects of customer needs and to manage the rapid growth of the company.
OFFER DESCRIPTION : The selected person will be responsible for the management and direction of all areas within the company.
The main mission is to define the company's strategy, its execution and monitoring to achieve the required objectives.
As an example, the missions will be : • Develop a Strategic Plan, establishing constant improvement proposals and preparing reports for the Group Management to analyze.
bull; Define together with the Director, the strategies to adopt in order to increase the market share. • Design the organizational structure of the company to allow it to adapt to the customer and market demands, defining roles and responsibilities of the technical and commercial team.
bull; Supervise customer service with the Technical Manager. • Guarantee the adequate financial control of the company, coordinating all aspects of economic management of the company (control of expenses, ongoing projects etc.
bull; Supervise and analyze the results of the company so that they maintain consistency with the group's strategic and policy objectives.
bull; Manage multidisciplinary teams with a vision that allows involvement & participation. • Represent the company in all public and private interest groups, developing effective relationships.
bull; Hold a weekly meeting to plan the tasks of each work group. • Prepare a weekly report to inform the parent company of the general situation of the subsidiary (commercial, technical, financial).
bull; Analyze financial reports monthly. • Control the annual budgets of the company. • Control and manage current partners (Technical agents) in the country.

Required academic training : Technical or specialized engineering. Management degree will be valued. Languages : Afrikaans, Advanced English.
