Our client, a dynamic vibrant passionate client interfacing company, one of the largest independent financial services practices in South Africa is seeking to employ a skilled, determined and committed Broker Assistant (Individual Life Insurance)

The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of all administration in their Financial Planning team to assist the Company in empowering their clients to retire successfully.

  • Matric
  • Level 5 Wealth Management Certificate (or equivalent) qualification would be an advantage
  • Experience

  • Must have worked with a financial planner in an individual business capacity
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years'''''''' experience with the following products : Retirement Annuities, Preservers, Living Annuities, Endowments, Unit Trusts
  • Computer Literacy - XPlan or Financial Planning software, Astute, Outlook., Word, Excel
  • Job Specification

    Assist the financial planners with :

  • Client liaison (Talking to clients, setting up meetings)
  • Preparing documents (forms, compliance documents, letters, schedules, proposals)
  • Diary management
  • Preparing client files for meetings (including forms and policy schedules)
  • Submitting and following up requests
  • Handling client queries and relationship building
  • Working closely with team to ensure all required administration processes take place.
