Learning and Development Officer - Cape Town - R45 - R60 per month Food Manufacturing / Processing Plant seeks a dynamic, innovative, customer centric individual to join the Training and Development team at to identify training needs across all business units and to conduct training at all business units, as well as assess the effectiveness of training interventions, methodologies and systems and Important Company feedback.
Assist and support roll out and implementation of all development initiatives.The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required : National Diploma or bachelor-s degree in relevant field : HRD / HR / Social SciencesMinimum of 2 years operational experience in HR Development or facilitationBTech / Bachelor-s Degree in relevant field : HRD / HR / Social Sciences Skills Development FacilitationAssessor, Moderator, Train the Trainer certification3 - 5 years operational experience in HR Development or facilitationKey CompetenciesThe successful candidate should be adaptable, have solid planning and organisation skills, be deadline driven and have time management skills.

Compile and implement departmental skills matrixes.Ensure the design, development, amendment, and delivery of training is in line with business requirements.
Delivery of On OTJ training on factory floor and e-learning system.Responsible for the design and creation of the training material for E-Learning and On OJT inhouse programmes.
Work closely with production managers to address any skills gaps and developmental focus areas.Ensure continuous improvement of training content, methodologies, and delivery of adjusted programmes as requiredCoordinate, implement and report on the employee induction programmesManage and implement development initiatives such as employee bursary process talent development programmes including learnerships, trainees, graduates, apprenticeships, and other work experience programmes in line with business requirementsCoordinate and implement career awareness events and activitiesDevelopment of and facilitation of Employee Awareness sessions relating to HR Policy and Procedure amongst othersReportingCollate and submit reportsFile documents per procedureFinance Management Input into training and development budgetAssess, review, and authorize payment in line with budget and policyStakeholder Relations Establish, monitor, and manage healthy, diverse, workable internal and external relationships, including the interface with external providers to ensure functional needs are met and organisational goals achievedRisk and ComplianceMonitor and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and proceduresEnsure remedial actions is implemented timeously to address non-conformances.
