focus(); catch(ex) addOnLoadFunction(setFocus,null); Back to Search Results Job Opportunity Account Manager1 / 12 / 22Full-TimeSouth Africa Refer Save Apply Job ID : Company Name : NETSCOUT We are looking for a Regional Channel Manager in South Africa or Kenia Description : Position Summary : The Regional Channel Manager (RCM) is responsible for achieving a sales quota in the Sub Saharan Africa Region ensuring Sales are transacted through the NetScout direct and indirect Channel (Single tier or 2 tier).

This position requires a close alignment with the direct Sales Teams where strategy, business planning needs to be agreed within the overall territory to achieve the revenue quota number for the region.

Working in collaboration with the Channel Partners and the regional teams to establish relationships with the end users to achieve year on year growth for the Region.

Working closely with the Regional Director to set channel strategy, marketing plans, coordination and positioning of corporate channel material within the region, liaison with corporate channel teams, legal, financial and operational teams to ensure ease of communications.

This position will be responsible for the execution of strategies and programs corporate and regional, to grow NETSCOUTs business while winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with assigned channel partners to achieve sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives.

The role reports to the Regional Director Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned) : Adhere to company policies and ethical guidelines.

Establish, position and maintain strong professional sales and sales management relationships with current and future Channel Partners.

Grow business opportunities through winning, expanding and maintaining relationships with channel partners. Develop and execute channel marketing plans established with the channel marketing team and to deliver content to channel partners.

To ensure consistent delivery of training throughout the region.To help identify and create collateral required for the new and existing channel partners.

To meet regularly with chosen channel partners to review business performance and to ensure collaboration and support of regional initiatives.

Works closely with sales teams within the channel partner community to train and advise.Establish regular cadence for meeting with account teams to perform quarterly business reviews.

Report monthly on sales KPIs within channel partners to Regional Director.Work to sales and revenue targets as set by the Regional Sales Director.

Help to create relationships between the NETSCOUT field sales organization and the Channel and Distribution partners. Give feedback to the marketing team on the success of sales promotions.

Address customer service issues as raised by the channel partner.Identify and reach out to new potential channel partners and help to facilitate the professional on-boarding of new chosen Channel Partners.

Work on cross selling the entire Netscout portfolio within the channel and end user market.Substantial travel within region and occasionally beyond is required.

Close collaboration with the field distribution managers.Regular communication with the corporate channel teams in NetScout HQ.

Strong presentation skills and interpersonal communication skills. Travel Requirements : Substantial travel within region and occasionally beyond is requiredCoverage of the Sub Saharan Africa region but with specialist support to other teams if requested and agreed by Regional Director such as collaboration within the wider geographical areas covered by the chosen channel.

Education Requirements : Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related degree Experience Requirements : 5 + years Channel Sales experience in Networking & Security10+ years experience in ITA quantifiable track record of success demonstrated by territory / professional growthA solid, articulate understanding of our technology, market, and client profile Track record of exceptional and consistent quota achievement Proven success, established customers and contacts, and solid territory knowledgeYou will need the skill to independently, work with large, complex accounts Must have exceptional presentation and communication skills (written & oral) Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, you regularly will be required to talk and hear.

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift company products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
