Establish and manage company's external strategic relationships with the industry and all relevant stakeholders to ensure that their expectations are appropriately managed.

  • To develop and implement an integrated stakeholder relationship management strategy that is aligned to the overall Company strategy;
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships;
  • Establish stakeholder relations forums;
  • Develop an integrated stakeholder management strategy in order to ensure compliance with the Company Act;
  • Monitor and analyse debates on policy and legislative processes that have an impact on the organization and advise accordingly in order to ensure compliance with the policies and legislation;
  • Financial and business management; and
  • Human Capital Management.
  • Qualifications and Experience

    Minimum : A Degree in Public Administration or Business Management / Computer Science / Information Technology / Commerce or equivalent (NQF Level 8) qualification

    Preferred Qualification : A postgraduate Degree in Public Administration or Business Management / Computer Science / Information Technology / Commerce or equivalent (NQF Level 8) qualification

    Experience : 8+ years’ experience in stakeholder management, public relations / public affairs experience in a government or corporate environment with 5 years’ experience at a senior management level in a Corporate / Public Sector Environment.

  • Knowledge of : Stakeholder Management, Relationship Management, Political acumen, Policy analysis, Stakeholder Relations;
  • Government policies and priorities, Diplomatic Relations and Protocol, Governance and Risk Management, Communication and influence;
  • ICT Environment and legislation. International relations (e.g. trade missions) ICT Industry and Shareholder Interface Cabinet and Parliament, Board, Public Sector including forums

  • Skills : Ability to define and implement strategic direction, produce accurate financial reports, use discretion when dealing with sensitive issues, Excels in strategic planning and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to articulate the features and merits of cloud computing to diverse audiences; Ability to translate complex technical concepts effectively to help customers understand their technological needs.

    Ability to build consensus, build followership with business line owners, Ability to develop effective partnerships with senior management and peer organizations, Ability to drive change set priorities, drive performance, and execute plans on schedule within a defined multifaceted structure.

    Ability to appropriately exert influence to drive priorities and achieve results., Ability to define plans and execute roadmaps.

    Ability to manage across functional teams, influence others to accomplish set goals, and organize resources, Ability to develop partnership-oriented relationships with business executives and functional.
