Location : Cape Town and surrounds (near Belville) Salary : R26 000 per month commensurate with experience and qualification Qualifications / Requirements : Grade 12 / equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification Minimum of National Diploma in IT Formalized knowledge of Microsoft products Minimum of 5 years experience in hardware and software maintenance support Ability to work under pressure and to maintain effectiveness during changing conditions Ability to work effectively and co-operatively with others by establishing and maintaining good working relationships Display a good customer-focus by developing and sustaining productive customer relationships Computer literate Maintain a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge by keeping abreast of current development and trends Key Performance Areas : The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for the support of IT related functions including but not limited to : - Software and hardware support and installation - User interface assistance and training - Render after hours support - Escalate any issues to the service desk that could not be resolved - Manage LAN, reporting WAN problems to ISP, Active directory, SAP - Installing and managing printers - Manage PABX / telephone system and IT asset register - Order PC’s, software licenses and any other IT related equipment - Monitor existing IT systems prioritising matters of urgency - Liaise with IT support desk and other departments regarding IT concerns as well as identification and implementation of improvement initiatives where appropriate - Compliance with Group policy and procedures - Configuration and SLA management - Connect / configure workstations to connect to LAN services (Microsoft) in a TCP / IP environment - Installing and configuration of workstations operating systems (Windows) - Installing and configure standard applications e.

g Microsoft office - Troubleshooting relating to workstation and server faults - Perform daily or monthly schedules - Running month-end in accordance with the IT support team - Responsible of IT compliance - Handle Kronos problems with the IT Support Team - Assist with SAP, MyMarket, Vision, Order Wise , order logistics related problems - Resolve IT related problems and issues including equipment, peripherals, software office tools and corporate systems
