Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival at the office and direct them to the appropriate person and / or meeting room Answer, screen and forward incoming calls and e-mails and provide basic and accurate information to queries Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk Co-ordinate diaries and schedule meetings and appointments and meeting room bookings REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of office equipment like printers etc Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Proficiency in MS Office suite Business English and fluency in atleast one South African languages EXPERIENCE Proven work experience OF 3-5 years as a receptionist or administrative assistant or similar role Proven work experience in a manufacturing / production environment EDUCATION A minimum of matric certificate An additional qualification as an administrative assistant or secretary will be an advantage.
