Through donations to the projects of high-end fashion items, local second hand stores specialising in international fashion brands generate an income which they use to support various charities in Cape Town.
Promotion of the organisation occurs through the creation of videos, photo shoots and online marketing activities. The shops also source items for customers and offer their items at a fraction of the normal retail price to increase the interest in their activities.
Good social media content and forming relationships with local partners is important to this organisation. In addition, the organisation also runs a pop up shop for the homeless where people can select 3 items of clothing.
The project is a firm believer in the benefits that businesses can have on the local community not matter how big or small, and that there is a bridge between the haves and the have nots.
