PURPOSE STATEMENT
The goal is to enable learners to acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and learner-centred manner.
Create and develop courses or programms, redesign courses and create learning material.
MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION
Conduct analysis
Be aware of the learning environment and possible restrictions
Work with subject matter experts to identify the learners’ learning needs
Understand the learners, their knowledge level and skills level
What is the scope, timeline an possible cost of the learning project
Design learning content
Design an evaluation system to assess impact / engagement
Develop learning objectives for learning interventions
Set entry requirements for learners
Map phases of learning modules to required timelines
Define flow and structure of learning modules
Development learning content
Convert designs into actual learning tools
Create supporting learning documents like facilitator guides, activity
guides and media
Select most appropriate delivery method for learning modules
Create learning material to cover all objectives / goals of
training design processes
Implement learning content
Ensure learning material is available to learners and conduct said learning
Train others on how to deliver learning material
Assess students
Gather evaluations from learners and other stakeholders

Revise learning material based on feedback from program reviews
Explore new innovations in both learning design and development
Maintenance
Update and maintain existing study material
Evaluate existing learning material, courses, and programs
Sustain TCF principles in maintenance of existing studying material
Treat clients fairly when designing and developing learning material, courses, and programs
