CONVEYANCING SECRETARY - ALBERTONIntroductionKlopper Jonker Incorporated of 1st Floor Terrace Building, 1 Eaton Terrace, New Redruth, Alberton requires the services of a Conveyancing Secretary.

This is a full-time position at the office of the firm Monday to Friday and occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

  • Duties & ResponsibilitiesFull function Conveyancing Secretary position;Preparing and drafting bond documents (Standard Bank, FNB and ABSA) and facilitating signature by clients thereof electronically;
  • Preparing and drafting documents for transfers of property including estate transfers;Preparing and drafting documents for the Deeds Office;
  • Correspondence with clients, other law firms and banks;The above is intended to describe the general content and requirements for the performance of this job.

  • QualificationMatric;At least 3 years’ experience in registering of bonds (Standard Bank, FNB, ABSA) at a reputable law firm essential –
  • Any application not meeting this requirement will not be considered.Computer literate and proficient in MS office, Stordoc, Lexis Convey, Lexis Sign and E4;
  • Have the ability to be proactive in managing files and pre-empt possible problems and issues and resolve same;Ability to work independently.

    Strong team work, interpersonal, organisational and prioritizing skills.Ability to multitask, to be flexible and able to manage conflicting deadlines and requests.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.Candidate must be based in Gauteng and have their own transport.Package &
