Minimum requirements for the role : A bachelors degree or diploma within the Sciences or related qualification is essential for this role.
Previous key account management / sales experience having worked within the personal care / pharmaceutical or chemical or related industries is essential.
Previous experience having managed Key Accounts is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills are essential.
Computer literacy with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.The successful candidate will be responsible for : Managing and developing Clients within the personal care / pharmaceutical industries within South Africa.
Developing and maintaining Key Accounts.Compiling customer forecasts as well as customer schedules.Attending to Customer orders and handling Customer queries and complaints.
Working closely with Procurement and Research and Development Departments regarding new product technology.Identifying Customer needs and develop client-focused solutions.
Identifying new business through effective relationships with Customers.Providing Manufacturing Departments with customer forecasts to ensure continuity of supply.
Working closely with the Customer Service, Supply Chain, Technical and Marketing Teams to develop customer focused strategies.
Reporting back to Senior Management on a monthly and quarterly basis regarding the Customers and the current market situation.
Attending regular meetings with the global team regarding raw materials forecasts.Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
