Sitting in with disciplinary hearings to make sure that managers follow the correct procedures Scrutinizing of evidence for hearings Completing paperwork for hearing outcomes and termination advices Representing cases at the CCMA Correspondence with Trade Unions Dealing with disciplinary and grievances Issuing warnings to employees to be signed off General ActivitiesCounselling staff members Adding and terminating employees on the various medical aids Administration of the Provident Fund Development of yearly outsourced training budget Performance management by making sure that managers evaluate staff accurately Attending and writing minutes for union meetings held on a monthly basis Booking outsourced training for employees and making sure they attend the training Booking medical examinations to make sure employees meet basic good health requirements Payroll Activities Checking the clocking reports for employees and submitting the overtime to head office Managing and processing PSA employees leave for payroll deductions Ensuring that all the employees banking details are updated in Sage payroll.
Managing and processing all union membership paperwork for payroll deduction Managing all recruitment and termination documentation for the adding and removal of employees on payroll Attending to all staff payroll related queries.
Financial Involvement Strictly follow annual budget set out by the Financial Manager and control monthly expenditure in line with budget.
Ensure that all invoices are authorized for payment by the Financial Manager. General AdminProduce various reports as and when requested by Financial Manager or EXCO members at Company.
Housekeeping Maintain a clean and uncluttered work area. Training Ensure that resources made available by the Financial Manager is used to enable staff and learners to attend scheduled external training sessions.
Quality Management System In your capacity of HR Officer at Company, you have the authority and responsibility to : Ensure that your department allows for adequate daily time to be spent on QMS Ensure that adequate communication channels are open to discuss the QMS progress and development within the depot Ensure that documents and records in your area is controlled as per the QMS and that all absolute and out dated documents are dealt with according to the relevant procedure.
Ensure that Non-conformance reports are completed and closed off in the allocated time frame. Other duties Any other duties required by the Financial Manager or other Senior Manager at Company.
Qualification, Skills and Competence Minimum 5 years in an FMCG environment Diploma in Human Resource Management Computer literate in MS Office Package Experience in a dynamic, high-
volume operating environment Knowledge of Health and Safety Procedures, Requirements and Legislation Above average interpersonal and communications skills Ability to motivate a large team Ability to schedule tasks and priorities actions Ability to allocate resources effectively and delegate tasks Excellent organizational skills Able to deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
