The primary responsibility of the engineer (L3) in this role is to provide technical support to Dimension Data clients. This includes remotely supporting clients within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to install and confiuration software and hardware, resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis and adhere to any related processes such as change management.

The engineer L3 is involved in more complex environments for installation, configuration and fault management.

Key Role Responsibilites :

  • Current State Assessments on client systems
  • Project Deployment services, but not limited to :
  • Implementations of a variety of Microsoft products e.g. M365, Azure AD, System Centre, Intune, WVD, WorkSpace1, ADFS, Exchange, IAM, In place and major version upgrades, Migrations AD / Exchange, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Teams
  • Pre-Sales where required from business
  • Deployment or Upgrading of systems
  • Management of high and low-level designs documents (High Level Design / Scope of Work and Low-level designs / deployment build)
  • Act as Project Lead or Technical Lead when required
  • Client engagement and presentation skills
  • Assisting with Transitions including, but not limited to :
  • New Client Take on processes
  • Contract Renewals
  • Due Diligence
  • Available as technical escalation point for other Engineers
  • Facilitate and participate in Master Classes on specific technology areas
  • Facilitate and participate in Communities of Practise
  • Standardisation of all required documentation
  • Adhering to vendor best practice standards
  • 7 - 10 years’ relevant operational experience including but not limited to :
  • Operational Support / Enterprise Services
  • Managed Services
  • Professional Services
  • High level scripting capabilities (PowerShell)
  • MCSE
  • ITIL V4 Foundation
  • MS700
  • System Centre Stack SCCM, Intune, SCCM-CMG,SCOM / SCORCH
  • VM-Ware
  • WVD / VDI / RDS
  • Azure 104 minimum
  • MS100 / 101
  • WorkSpace1 Unified Endpoint Management Specialist
