Based in Sandton within the Audi Sales team, the successful incumbent will be responsible to improve overall dealer financial performance.

This is achieved through a process of analysing dealer financials, consulting with the management of underperforming dealers and the development and monitoring of corrective action plans.

The objective is to ensure a financially strong dealer organisation, which will improve vehicle sales and workshop output, increase market share, and improve customer & dealer satisfaction, while simultaneously protecting Audi Brands interests.

Dealer Financial Reporting : Manage the timeous and accurate monthly financial & quantitative reporting by all Audi dealerships.

Assist and facilitate the maintenance of the dealer reporting into a central database (Sewells). Prepare Management reporting and analysis for decision-

making purposes. Prepare key financial input for reporting to Audi AG and assist with ad hoc queries i.r.o. Dealer Financial Reporting Business Management Consulting : Use comparative analysis and benchmarks to identify dealerships or departments within dealerships that could improve financially.

Conduct dealers consultations with dealer management or the relevant functional areas in the dealership Define and agree corrective action plans through individual or cross-

functional teams in conjunction with the dealership management. Encourage the participation of dealers in Business Management training and external Performance Groups.

Identify benchmark processes to facilitate the adoption of best practices across the dealer network. Facilitate the training of new dealer personnel (i.

e. DPs and Financial Managers) regarding dealer financial reporting and analysis. Review business cases from prospective investors related to changes in ownership of new dealerships to support management decisions.

Prepare business valuation / assess financial viability in changes of ownership for performance improvement, dealer representation strategy, etc.

Assist Dealer Development by assessing the financial viability of / and making recommendations for future dealer facility upgrades / investments.

Dealer Performance Review : Manage the Audi Dealer Review process in accordance with Audi Dealer Agreement.Ability to operate independently ESSENTIAL : · A recognised Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Commerce / Business Management / Financial Management · Minimum of 5 years experience in Wholesale manufacturer environment · Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Audi dealerships, including dealer principals, investors and group directors · Presentation and influencing skills · Negotiation skills · Strong Financial Analytical skills · Leadership skills · Self-

starter characteristics, with the ability to use own initiatives PREFERRED : · A post-graduate degree in Finance or B.Com Honours · Business consulting experience in Dealer Management System (DMS) operational · Advanced understanding of financial principles and business management
