This role is a critical enabler of our vision for sales performance analytics. As the Senior Data Analyst, you will focus on providing deep insights based on our available data from multiple sources, to answer specific strategic business questions.

You will drive analytics projects independently to achieve business goals.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Independently drives tactical and strategic projects with cross-functional virtual teams to achieve specific business objectives
  • Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
  • Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in relevant datasets to locate influences.
  • Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
  • Define, develop, enhance and track metrics and dashboard requirements to deliver results and provide insight and recommendations on trends.
  • Uses advanced data analysis and tools to ensure analytics are valid, meaningful, and provide actionable and comprehensive insights.
  • Support the team to help them answer strategic questions, make insightful data driven business decisions and properly design new initiatives.
  • Provide technical advice, consultation and knowledge to others within the relevant teams.
  • Create relevant reports and present on trends

    Knowledge, Skills and Attributes :

    Behavioural and Interpersonal Skills required :

  • Strong analytical, statistical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, including listening skills
  • Ability to drive global virtual teams towards a common objective
  • Ability to independently drive projects with little direction
  • High degree of resilience and adaptability to volatile and fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility to take on tactical and strategic projects
  • Technical Skills required :

  • Excellent in PowerBI and Excel
  • Excellent in at least one analytical scripting language (eg, DAX, R)
  • Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud an advantage
  • Understanding of data visualisation principles including pre-attentive attributes and experience in applying them to reports and dashboards
  • Understanding of current data protection and privacy laws
  • Academic Qualifications and Certifications :

  • 10 to 15 years' experience in a data analyst role
  • Required Experience :

  • Extensive experience working in an analytics role
  • Demonstrable evidence of driving analytics projects independently
  • Good experience working with data collection tools and software
  • Good experience in data wrangling and cleansing
  • Demonstrable experience in data visualisation
