The successful candidate will be responsible for : Contracts : Negotiating and winning contracts to secure spares and service business and maintaining these in line with customer and companys price / margin expectations.
Business Development : Maintaining high levels of CRM with installed base and identifying new business opportunities. Promoting and marketing new products and services to existing clients.
Summarising competitor activity at key customer sites. Communicating escalation and price increases on spares. Maintaining a record of customer satisfaction with the companys products and services.
Sales Management / Key Account Management : Maintaining a record of contact people at customer sites and identifying their likes or dislikes with the companys equipment or services.
Keeping a record of the companys equipment installed at each site. Ensuring the optimal operation of the companys equipment through the supply of spares.
Educating customers through detailed explanations and / or demonstrations. Obtaining customer operational data / set equipment benchmarks.
Obtaining planning information such as shutdowns. Identifying opportunities for additional spare, service support and new equipment.
Communicating these opportunities to relevant departments and assisting with the coordination of activities to achieve customer satisfaction.
Forecast : Managing forecast for spares based on demand and requirements for new equipment. Customer Satisfaction : Recording and coordinating closure of customer complaints.
Technical meeting coordination. Measuring customer satisfaction and developing initiatives to improve year on year. Preparing budget for spares sales for key customers.
Maintaining customer records. Developing strategy for KAM. Ensuring continuous learning and growth for all Consultants. Ensuring high level of knowledge of equipment and support processes.

Minimum requirements for the role : A Mechanical or Chemical Degree / Diploma is essential plus a Business Degree / Diploma (beneficial).
Minimum 7 years experience having worked within the spares / services department to the heavy industry / mining industry / capital plant equipment is essential.
Good computer skills (high level of capability in Excel, Access, Power BI an advantage). Excellent presentation skills. Own transport and valid drivers licence.
