Brand Coordinator - Reporting to the Buyer

The purpose of this role is to support the Buyer in the administration of the brand and to provide support and solutions to the Brand team to ensure optimal administrative efficiency.

With strong focus to support the buyer in the process from initial product development and costing to hand off to procurement teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administration and Data Capturing :
  • Drive improvement of administrative efficiencies, processes, and procedures.
  • Capture and maintenance of linelists.
  • Customer and Supplier Relations :
  • Referring queries or complaints from customers to the relevant department / person.
  • Liaising with buyer with regards to stock queries, late deliveries or any problems experienced.
  • Communicating comprehensive and concise tech packs and costing enquiries to suppliers.
  • Support buyer in follow up / production communication with suppliers during development & bulk production.
  • Good knowledge of product and garment construction to support development and costing with suppliers.
  • Facilitate SMS / QA / PPS process and ensuring all samples during development and production are followed up and prepped accordingly in order to hand over to QA team.
  • Stock and Sample Control / Management :
  • Manage and keep track of all samples sets, i.e. current and future samples correctly invoiced.
  • Responsible for management of the marketing and showroom samples.
  • Responsible for capturing and maintaining style orders and for generating purchase orders.
  • Management of the sync system with raising style masters and MST tracking.
  • Education and Experience Requirements

  • Essential : Matric qualification
  • Desirable : A relevant Diploma / Degree
  • Essential : Minimum 3 years exp in a similar role (involved with product development) in a retail environment.
