This position is for SAOTA based in Gardens Cape Town At SAOTA we attribute much of our success to the strength of our Media Department.

To build on this momentum, were searching for a highly qualified and experienced Marketing Manager to work closely with them.

From day one, this individual will contribute to the development of new initiatives aligned with company and client goals.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including but not limited to marketing research, CRM, communications, advertising, branding, digital and traditional marketing, and social media.

The Marketing Manager must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

OBJECTIVES AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in the development and implementation of the companys Marketing strategy Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success Provide market research, forecasts, competitor analysis, campaign results, and consumer trends Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including a credentials database, tracking capability, global contact directory, and intranet sites Continued self-development and share best practices, marketing ideas and tactics with the team DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing Strategy : Support the Marketing Director & Head of Media in establishing the marketing plan and strategy .

  • Reporting : Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data; in addition, communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to business developers, and provide instructions for use or promotion Project Management : Plan meetings, events, conferences and exhibitions by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists Research : Conduct research to analyse targeted client behaviour and competitive landscapes Promotional Materials : Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the Graphics Department;
  • maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed Customer Relationship Management : Develop, maintain and improve a CRM system Customer Data : Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customer data, and provide recommendations to sales and marketing leadership Qualifying Leads : Identifying new clients, build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, stakeholders and clients through various marketing efforts including qualified calls Monitoring Budgets : Monitor marketing budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with forecasts SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION BA or Bcom degree with a marketing, advertising or communication focus Past work experience as a marketing manager or similar role Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing Experience with research using data analytics software Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite CRM database experience
