Administration of the SAGE300 PEOPLE Payroll system
Optimising and automating manual payroll processes
Processing of new employees, loading of monthly earnings and deductions and any other changes to employees’ fixed information on the SAGE300 PEOPLE Payroll system.
Printing of payslips
Extracting and disseminating of all relevant payroll reports as required
Responsible for all payroll activities involving the calculation and deduction of tax, medical aid, retirement fund contributions etc.
Assist with Leave Administration
Ensuring that all payroll queries are dealt with promptly
Collating of documents for the Auditors
Filing and general office work
Knowledge and experience of SAGE300 PEOPLE Payroll system would be advantageous
Computer literate in MS OFFICE (MS OUTLOOK, MS WORD)
Advanced Microsoft EXCEL (creating macros, pivot-tables, knowledge and application of advanced Microsoft EXCEL formulae) is essential
Analytical thinking and sound numerical skills
Good interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills
Attention to detail
Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans would be advantageous
To use own initiative, ability to work independently as well as in a team
Code 8 driver’s licence would be advantageous
Relevant Payroll Administrators course would be advantageous
