So what's the gig?

It is to be a Multimedia Designer in diverse team of creatives that serve all aspects of the creative requirements for the client's regional portfolio.

As a unit within the Saatchi & Saatchi offering, The Power of One team, of which you will be an associate, your gig will to be at the visual edge of our offering and to execute content in social and digital channels.

These channels demand creative ideas and visual expressions that are rich, engaging and fresh. Your primary focus and daily activities will be to support big idea’ campaigns, content calendar rollout and content execution across the brands.

Think of yourself as a swiss army knife of content creation. Every aspect of your incredible skillset will be used to create innovative executions for a marketing space that is dynamic and ever evolving.

  • Responsibilities (include but are not limited to);
  • Develop and execute outstanding content across Social and Digital
  • Work closely with multi-discipline team members to execute ideas and content
  • Build strong collaborative relationship with the creative team and partners
  • Timeous execution of work against scheduled deadlines by the traffic manager
  • Help translate concept ideas into content. (Extrapolate 'big ideas' for executions)
  • Create digital assets (static and video) for a range of platforms (social, display advertising, e-Commerce, websites, mobile apps, etc.)
  • Contribute to proactivity and innovative thinking on brands within the portfolio
  • Push the idea and executional craft to make the work and ideas shine
  • Keep abreast of multimedia and current trends and industry best practice
  • Qualifications

    Requirements / Experience / Skills

  • A tertiary qualification in Multimedia Design or similar
  • At least 4 years working experience as a Multimedia Designer with 1 year being in an Advertising Agency or similar environment (i.e. Radio)
  • A fantastic command of graphic design, illustration, photography, video editing, audio & typography
  • Experience in executing against creative briefs and social media platform requirements and apply best practice
  • Experience creating digital assets for a variety of target audiences
  • Experience using multimedia design tools i.e. Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premier Pro or similar
  • Knowledge of and experience in animation, photo and video editing
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong multitasking skills (able to work on multiple briefs at any given time)
