Are you a sports apparel enthusiast, looking to make your mark nationally?

This Candidate will be responsible for representing the marketing functions of an exciting sports brand within all provinces in SA with a key accountability to managing brand teams in each region to ensure the high integrity of the brand throughout all the required touchpoints.

This is a work from home position!

Job Description

  • Manage localized marketing activity within the provinces including (but not
  • limited to)

    o Grassroots Activations maximising Mobile units

    o Local Store & Centre Marketing initiatives

  • Implementation of the national retail, brand and sporting campaigns
  • Work with HQ leads to maximize and leverage brand opportunities
  • Budget planning, spend accountability & reconciliation of all regional activity
  • Set target, accountabilities and reports for all regional KPI’s
  • People management

  • Direct, support and manage the Regions team members to ensure
  • efficiencies, productivity, and KPI achievement within their regions

  • With aid of the team, ensure that all campaigns, product launches, and SIS
  • presentations are executed and at the required standard

  • Ensure operational efficiencies for teams to interpret and action the
  • feedback model to relevant account managers

  • Ensure the teams efficiency and accountabilities
  • Hire and manage weekend staff through schedules that align with the
  • allocated budget and outputs

  • Feedback on weekend staff achievements and observations on a weekly
  • basis

    National Product and Brand Training

  • Design and implementation of the retail and wholesale technical product
  • training programs

  • Manage the Tech Training capacities
  • Ensure training excellence
  • Ensure training saturation across all wholesale doors
  • Team Building and Values
  • Drive a strong, motivated team of who are aligned with brand vision, values
  • and goals

  • Carry out all performance measures and GOLP processes for team
  • Drive a sporting brand culture
  • Ensure all staff get the relevant growth opportunities to maximize potential

  • Requirements

  • Marketing diploma or degree
  • Min 5 Years working experience
  • Minimum two years’ experience in similar position
  • Management of team essential
  • Retail experience beneficial
  • Car and valid driver’s license essential
  • Must be able to travel nationally
