  • Tasks related to the duties and responsibilities Sale and Dispatch Procedure : Prepare pro-forma invoices and quotations for customers and send it to the customers timeously;
  • Create sales orders accurately and efficiently; Dispatch sales orders, ensuring that goods are not released without correct proof of payment;
  • Determine the reason for the queries on sales orders and dispatch notes and notify and follow up with the relevant partiers involved;
  • and Liaise with the warehouse as to the estimate time of arrival (ETA) for backorders, always keeping the customer informed.

  • Sales : Make outbound lead generation calls to prospective and existing customers to create new sales and upgradeable opportunities;
  • Contact customers who have referred clients to us and thank them; Respond to phone / fax / email / web queries within 2 hours;
  • Ensure quotes are completed in line with quality management system; Follow up with the customer within 24hrs of sending the quotation;
  • Check stock availability when quoting products and take cognisance of availability in your region; Collect and analyse data to find out why a customer is not accepting a quotation, make counter offer where possible and or offer an alternative solution;
  • Develop proposals in response to customer requests; Meet or exceed annual sales plan; and Reporting your progress on weekly call sheets and activity logs and on monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) meetings.

  • Finance Work with other sales representatives and Blastrite employees to coordinate account activity; Investigate and resolve customer queries;
  • Following up on and checking dispatch orders; Prepare and create invoices; Following up and collecting outstanding monies;
  • Verify proof of payments before dispatch of any goods; Opening of cash sale accounts; and Reconcile cash sales daily. Administration Ensure a clean and safe working environment;
  • Maintain customer files in an orderly manner in line with the quality management system; Commit to compliance with all required health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment and zero tolerance for workplace injuries;
  • Order office and warehouse stationary; and Opening of cash accounts where applicable. Matric / National qualification with mathematics Proficient in both English and Afrikaans Experience in navigating and utilising an ERP system (e.

    g. SAGE) Valid (Code 8) Drivers license Working knowledge of Micro Soft excel and word (minimum Intermediate) Product and industry knowledge(advantageous)
