Recruitment Description / Key AccountabilitiesWork with the Vice President for Securities and Governance laws in all disclosure matters for the Sasol Group.

Provide disclosure and securities law support to transaction teams in securities and capital market matters such as bond issues or equity transactions (bonds, rights), circulars and prospectuses.

Assess disclosure matters for materiality. Assist in the liaison with local and international regulators such as Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Review Sasol corporate documents and filings such as annual reports and disclosure documents. Contribute to shaping Group-wide governance initiatives to address governance advisory requirements.

Monitor and understand capital markets and securities laws applicable to Sasol. Enable the Disclosure Working Groups mandate.

Contribute to setting standards and create awareness with respect to non-financial disclosure requirements in South Africa and the United States.

Assist in insider trading related matters and the formulation of the relevant policies in that regard. Provide guidance and oversight in respect of Sasols business and human rights programme.

Provide support in the compilation of Sasols human rights risk profiles and provide business and human rights awareness.

Design online business and human rights training programme and roll out such training. Formal EducationPost Graduate Honours Degree, LLB or Law degree Min Experience 10 relevant years Certification & Professional Membership Admitted attorney of a High Court CompetenciesAnalytics : The systematic computational analysis of data or statistics Business Acumen : An intuitive and applicable understanding of how a company or unit makes money.

It involves critical thinking, analysis and persistence. Reporting : The ability to access information from databases, forms, and other sources, and prepare reports according to requirements.
