Role : eCommerce Content Coordinator

We're looking for

A dedicated and passionate eCommerce Content Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance of the clients website, including product catalogue management, loading of marketing content and the use of optimisation tools.

You are passionate about online, digital, eCommerce, websites and UX.

What's the role?

You will be responsible for :

  • Set up and maintain product catalogues - including product names, descriptions, attributes, images & videos
  • Setup & maintain website navigation catalogue including categories and filtering
  • Maintain website search & keywords to align with customer expectations, and drive conversion
  • Maintain relevant user and company generated content and assist with product photography workflow in order to keep content repository up-to-date and relevant
  • Perform regular QA & website audits to ensure website content is of the highest standard
  • Assist with user testing as needed for any website enhancements or project implementations
  • Respond to issues or queries from customers, internal and / or external teams as needed
  • Configure campaigns, promotions & launches in line with the agreed marketing & content calendars
  • Boxes to tick

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar position
  • Matric and related tertiary education in digital / eCommerce
  • High-level understanding of web design and web analysis
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms (such as Magento, BigCommerce, Shopify, SAP Hybris, Salesforce), Google Analytics & SEO
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, display & affiliate marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Excel)
  • Domain knowledge in eCommerce, retail, online advertising and / or analytics
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
