JOB PROFILE : FINANCIAL MANAGER The Financial Manager is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company, including proper bookkeeping systems, tax payments, debtors / creditors, payroll, management accounts and warehouse / stock.
To monitor and report on the financial health of the company, including profitability, costs controls and cash flow. He / She is also responsible for various staff functions such as facilities management, BEE, legal compliance etc.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS : A tertiary qualification in Financial Management; At least 5 years experience in running and managing a Financial Department, preferably in the motor manufacturing industry;
The ability to manage the accounts using best accounting practices; People management skills; The ability to implement new administrative and accounting systems and processes;
Attention to detail and strong administrative skills; Financial Manaqement Ensure that systems and processes are in place to ensure that all bookkeeping functions are properly executed and documented;
Perform all bookkeeping functions in the company, either directly or through subordinates; Ensure that accounting controls are in place to ensure financial integrity and accountability;
Generate monthly management accounts, including company and department KPl's; Initiate, create and implement new systems and processes, as per new business or accounting requirements, including integration into the company ERP system;
Manage the Stores; Assist in the yearly external audit process; Ensure legal compliance of the company; Manage financial and other risks within the company;
Manage and review all contracts which the company enters into with third parties (suppliers) Create company policies which are in the financial sphere of influence, such as petty cash, expense claims, signing authority levels, etc.
Manage all aspects of the employee life cycle of 3 direct reports; Be involved with the MANCO to ensure the success of the company as a whole;
Staff Function Manaqement Responsible for BEE certification and driving higher compliance levels; Manage the facilities, including cleaning, refreshment purchases, security;
4. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS : Ensure that all financial functions within the company are performed to exacting standards and required (legal and auditing) compliance levels;
b) Ensure accurate and timely Management Accounts and KPI's; (c) Ensure financial health of the company, through timely feedback and active interventions in areas of concern;
d) Ensure legal compliance of the company, and actively manage risks in the company; Ensure stores has high stock uptime, combined with low stock value levels and low shrinkage;
Maintain and improve BEE compliance level through proper administration, and active interventions;
