Job Brief :

We are looking for a young, dynamic, and vibrant Recruitment Assistant to support our recruiting and onboarding activities.

Our agency is expanding, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us. We are a paperless agency and therefore require someone with exceptional computer literacy.

This role is ideal for someone who is seeking to grow with a company and who is eager to learn.

Our ideal candidate will be efficient, organized, very detail orientated and assist us in keeping our hiring process running smoothly.

If you have some experience in recruiting and you are an excellent organizer and communicator, we would like to view your CV.

Responsibilities include :

  • Answering the telephone, taking messages, transferring calls (not a switchboard) (when needed)
  • Supporting the team with clerical duties :
  • Answering emails
  • Drafting, editing CV’s
  • Logging activities on the candidate database
  • Updating profile on the candidate database
  • Candidate searches
  • Maintain candidate database
  • MIE Checks Processing background checks (when needed)
  • Typing Minimum speed 50 / 60 wpm (ideally 60wpm +)
  • Tracking Coordinate hiring activities
  • Prepare and post job ads online
  • Assist with resume’ screening and initial phone screens
  • Please note that these duties are not limited to the above, should we require you to do anything within reason, you will be expected to carry them out timeously
  • Requirements :

  • National Senior Certificate (minimum requirement)
  • Additional qualifications in administration, recruitment, typing (beneficial)
  • Must be computer literate :
  • Excel (proficient in working with spreadsheets formulas not needed but welcomed)
  • Word (fully proficient in using the editing tools)
  • Outlook (proficient)
  • Typing (50 / 60 wpm) (ideally 60wpm + as this role follows strict deadlines that need to be followed)
  • Proven experience as an Recruitment Assistant or another recruiting-related role (preference given to those with experience in the recruitment industry)
  • Experience using recruiting software and social networks for recruiting (preferred) :
  • Ditto (highly beneficial)
  • LinkedIn (beneficial)
  • PNET (beneficial)
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Great attention to detail
