Kinaxia Logistics are recruiting a Regional HR Advisor to join their team. The role of the Regional HR Advisor will be to deliver the HR department mission, vision and values by providing proactive, flexible HR support to all employees, whilst driving best practice to comply with all company procedures, documented polices and employment legislation.

  • Monday Friday37.5 hours per weekLife assurancePensionCar allowanceOnsite ParkingCycle to work schemeLoyalty Awards (recognises employees with 5, 10, 20, 30 and 40 years service)Employee benefits and discounts across a range of top brands (including shopping, travel, motoring and days out)About the job : Provide day to day support and advise to employees and managers on all HR related issues by referring to current policies and procedures and evaluating the problems to safeguard compliance with employment legislation and to mitigate any risks to the Company;
  • Build trusted relationships with the senior management team to provide understanding of the strategic value the HR function can add to the development and growth of their business;
  • Implement and embed all HR policies and procedures through internal communication channels, and training / coaching sessions to ensure consistency across the Group is being maintained and managers have the skills required to deal appropriately will local HR matters;
  • Support departmental mangers with staffing levels through coordinating the recruitment and selection process and working alongside Group Recruitment to make certain that the right people are in the right jobs at the right time;
  • Work with the Group Learning & Development Manager and senior management team to implement the Learning and Development strategic plan to create a workforce with the relevant skill set, where potential is being developed and effective succession plans are in place;
  • Work with the Group Learning and Development Manager to encourage managers to recruit apprentices where appropriate and attend local schools and college recruitment fairs and events to promote the Company and Group within the local community and to address skill shortages and improve succession plans.

  • Work closely with the senior management team to promote employee engagement throughout the employee life cycle to encourage the cultural change required to meet the evolving needs of the Group;
  • Work collaboratively with your Regional HR Manager and HR Advisor colleagues to priorities workload in order to deliver an efficient and effective service across the northern region and to meet customer expectations.

    Your knowledge and experience : Continued up to date knowledge of employment legislation and ACAS best practiceKnowledge of HR Management systems, preferably Cascade HRTransport & Warehousing industry knowledge is desirableCompleted or studying towards a HR Qualification is desirable.

    Train the Trainer is desirableMentoring & Coaching is desirableMediation in the Workplace is desirableSupporting a management team and employees with adhering to employment legislation preferably in a transport or warehousing industryUtilising a HR Management system and creating statistical reportingGaining buy-in and embedding new polices / procedures / into the workplaceRecruitment and Selection, preferably using competency-based questionsSupporting a management team with employee development and succession plans
