  • Job Purpose : Manage a full portfolio for a fund / s in order to meet the Service Provider Agreement SPAs. Assist with the management of business processes by solving day-to-day problems;
  • checking, and verifying data and action the first authorisation of payments for claims as required

    KPAs / Key outputs

    Process monthly contribution updates for specific funds

    Section 13A Identify all participating employers with outstanding payments and / or schedules liaise with Fund accounts and notify the Fund monitoring person

    Effect investment Switches

    Maintain updated filing

    Process all Termination and Retirement claims

    Process all Death and Funeral claims

    Process Unclaimed Benefits

    Process group / individual transfers in accordance with Section 14.

    Process Divorce Settlement claims

    Process Agterskort and Surplus claims

    Action the first authorisation of payments for claims

    Prepare Benefit Statements

    Prepare administration reports

    Attend to customer queries

    Proactively identify opportunities for new business within the Fund

    Prepare and compile Year-end working papers

    Process all claims and contribution updates as per Company processes and procedures

    Follow admin standards as per client SPA

    Qualifications and Experience

    Matric and / or equivalent qualification, Certificate of Proficiency in Retirement funds (COP)

    3 years experience in similar or work related position with good knowledge of Employee Benefits

    Computer literacy Advanced Office

    Good understanding of Administration systems (Everest will be advantage)

    Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

    Ability to work under pressure

    Self-starter & excellent organising skills

    Good verbal, written and communications skills

    Committed and reliable with integrity. Telephone etiquette and client liaison
