Human Resource and Transformation Ref no : 21 / 66 5 Year Fixed Term Position- Post Level 3. Reporting to the Vice - Chancellor and Principal,the successful candidate should be a visionary, strategic, well-rounded and true Human Resource generalist.
The incumbent should have in-depth knowledge of all HR disciplines and systems and must have worked in a highly unionised environment.
The position requires seasoned leader who will provide strategic leadership, support and advice to, amongst others, the HR team, Executive Management and the University Council.
Minimum requirements : A Master’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualifi cation in Human Resources At least 10 years’ experience at Executive Management level Extensive knowledge of the above indicated HR disciplines.
Responsibilities and duties : The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and provision of strategic leadership in the following HR disciplines : Recruitment and benefi ts administration Employee relations Safety health environment Transformation, employment equity and diversity Policy, planning and organisational development Human resources development Remuneration and HR systems.
