Job description

Great Domaines is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic website administrator to join our high-end wine company. This position provides the perfect opportunity for a junior web administrator with a good understanding of technology, preferably with a passion for wine, who wishes to have the opportunity to take Great Domaine’s new website to the next level

Responsibilities : Website management

Website management

  • Maintain and update general information on our website such as new banners, newsletter / blog, producer information and other parts of the site.
  • Tracking of online orders.
  • Load new products on our website when required.
  • Evaluate website analytics and performance of the site (track, compile and analyze web usage).
  • With the web agency's assistance, ensure constant backup and manage troubleshooting to ensure that our website is fully functional.
  • With the direction of the Marketing manager, evaluate and drive Google Ads campaigns.
  • With the assistance of Sales and Marketing manager implementation of Mailchimp and Survey Monkey campaigns.
  • Resize product pictures on Photoshop to load on the website following web specifications.

    Great Domaines is a specialist fine wine importer based in South Africa that focuses on directly importing and distributing fine European wines, glassware by Zalto, the Coravin wine preservation system and the local distribution of some of the best South African wines.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree / web and graphic Design Diploma.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Proficient in Mailchimp and WordPress.
  • HTML knowledge an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and Search Engine Optimization.
  • The ability to adapt, multitask and prioritize with strong attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated, a team player and innovative.
  • Knowledge of SAP ByDesign an advantage.
  • Ability to work occasionally after hours to meet deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge in Adobe suite to be able to produce simple designs.
