Senior Consultant / Team ManagerIntroductionReference : FRG001592-KH-1Large, Innovative South Africa Financial Services organisation is looking for a senior Travel Consultant / Manager with exceptional customer service skills to fulfil our High Net Worth client's travel requests and oversee the consultant team.

DescriptionResponsibilities as Lifestyle Assistant / Manager : Oversee the team dedicated to servicing the UHNW customer base ensuring operational excellenceProvide guidance, problem solving and support to staff in the teamSource product suited to customer needs and for Bank initiated events where applicableBuild and maintain good relationships with personal Bankers and product housesWork well in a team and maintain good team morale and motivationProvide information on but not limited to travel, facilities and services, events and attractions, tours, travel routes and transportation schedules Arrange tickets, bookings, appointments and reservations for customersOrganize extra's for client or special occasions "Surprises and Delights"Source travel products and information for upmarket clientsBuild relationships and rapport with your customers Build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders team members, customers, suppliers, bankers, etcProvide customers with excellent customer service and always go the extra mileAssist with after hour duty Work closely with the Head of Travel & Lifestyle to enhance the value proposition for the UHNW customer baseCome up with new initiatives and creative ideas for clientsArranging all travel related queries and advising clients on all travel arrangements, visas and passports Keeping clients up to date with any changes Dealing with complaints and refundsCounsel clients on terms and conditions of travel, cancellation policies, insuranceProcess payments and discount allocation / sPromote destinations, tour packages and other services Provide travel tips on currency, language, safety, health, etc.

Maximize on sales opportunities Deliver excellent customer serviceWork closely with Managers within the team to maximise opportunities Travel product, Groups, Experiences, Operations Achieve monthly KPI as set out by the Head of Travel & Lifestyle Minimum requirement : National Diploma in Travel or similar10 years' experience within the Travel industry10 years GDS experience preferably Galileo concierge or similar, corporate or wholesale experience, focusing on / UHNW clients an advantageProvide Best in Class customer service focused on exceeding client expectations Strong sense of urgencyImpeccable attention to detailCreating the WOW experience for our clients with each interactionProven recent international travelExperience of minimum 3 years, supervising / team leader / managing a teamDesk Operating Hours : Monday -

Friday, 08h00 - 17h00. Saturdays & Public holidays, 08h00 - 12h00.Consultant will be required to work shifts.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
