Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in and across project development teams to test all required system modifications and functionality within development projects with the aim of delivering high quality products at a fast pace
  • Compile test plans and present these test plans to the testing group and participate during test plan reviews
  • Holding the space for quality within the development project team
  • Promote uptake of new technologies and tools to improve testing results.
  • Work on queries logged by operational staff and ensure query protocol is followed including collaborating with other development teams
  • Enhance and maintain knowledge base on solving system queries
  • Build a relationship with users ensuring customer’s needs are met.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric
  • At least 24 months mobile or web testing experience  
  • Strong computer skills with a good knowledge of a variety of different Windows and Web-based programs
  • Experience working in agile teams using scrum and / or Kanban
  • Strong practical experience of MS SQL
  • Ability to perform REST API testing through either PostMan or Swagger (Open API) interface
  • Interpreting application error logs


Additional Information

Beneficial requirements:

  • IT Qualification or studying IT
  • Exposure to test automation experience in Web (Katalon, Selenium, Protractor or Cypress)
  • Exposure to a Test Case Management Tool (TestRail)
  • Exposure to C# and JavaScript
  • Understanding of API and mobile application branching strategies
  • Exposure to UiPath  
  • Exposure to Cosmos database
  • ISTQB Qualification
