Summary : The purpose of this is to lead, direct and manage the Enterprise Development and Supplier Development initiatives of the company.

Qualifications required :

  • A BCom business management degree or relevant tertiary qualifications;
  • A post graduate qualification will be an added advantage;
  • Industry certifications in BBBEE.
  • Experience Required :

  • 5 years enterprise development experience;
  • 3 years in senior management Knowledge specific legislation, i.e. The MFMA, PPPFA, BBBEE codes, etc;
  • 5 years xperience in supplier diversity;
  • Experience with strategic sourcing methodology and supplier contracting.

  • Key responsibilities :

  • Enhance the contribution of the company to Enterprise Development, Supplier Development and job creation through strategic contractor management and development;
  • Capacitate SMME Contractors;
  • Coordinate the allocation of job opportunities;
  • Ensure viable business development support programs;
  • Capacitate and support SMMEs to ensure effective delivery management.
  • Manage on-boarding processes.
  • Direct development of Supplier Management Strategy and monitor adherence to strategic objectives.
  • Define supplier management policies / procedures and develop / implement supplier qualification / certification criteria.
  • Direct monitoring / improvement of internal / external stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Analyse market trends and benchmarking.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding requirements to maintain supplier status and legislative compliance i.e. compliance with BBBEE, Quality programmes, Contractor Compliance Initiatives.
