A relevant B degree Extensive relevant experience at managerial level A valid Code B drivers licence. Key performance areas : Developing and implementing Informal Settlements infrastructure and asset maintenance plans Managing the provision of basic services Developing and overseeing processes of social engagement and research with communities to co-design and co-create improvements in water and sanitation conditions in informal settlements with an emphasis on building trust, drawing on local and international best practices Leading the departments effort to deliver on commitment in the Water Strategy in engagement with informal settlements to improve services Developing, managing and monitoring projects, performance, resources and procedures for asset maintenance and management Aligning, integrating and coordinating the provision of area based basic / essential services with various departments and directorates Overseeing the operational management of Informal Settlements Providing janitorial services for Informal Settlements ablution facilities Management of SHREQ, as well as the EPWP programme for Informal Settlements Basic Services Monitor, evaluate and report on basic service delivery performance Controlling, managing and monitoring allocation of funding and expenditure within the Branch Managing and controlling staff and outcomes associated with utilisation, productivity and performance of personnel within the Division.
