We ( www.oncehub.com ) are an innovative and thriving B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company that provides lead acceleration solutions to organizations worldwide.
We are a remote company spread across seven countries and five continents . You’ll work remotely from your home South Africa and report directly to the CEO.
As a product led company with a generous freemium plan, our sales strategy is based on expanding our customer base and working with our inbound leads.
We do not do any outbound prospecting and this will not be part of your job description. Instead, you will have to be inquisitive and develop deep relationships with the right accounts in our customer base.
You will also be empowered to think creatively and develop additional sources of revenue through establishment of new channels and partnerships.
To be successful in this role you will need a combination of sales and product management skills. You will need to quickly learn our products, understand their unique selling propositions and use these to discover new ways of increasing our revenue.
Since most of our customers and prospects are US based, you will need to work a split day where you use the earlier part of the day for internal collaboration and the later part of the day for customer-facing work.
In this role, you will :
Lead, manage and direct the daily operations of the Sales and Business Development team.
Run and lead sales conversations, run product demos and feel comfortable interacting with customers from small to large revenue teams (mostly located in the US).
Learn, evaluate and improve the processes in the team, and set the strategic direction while showing the team how you can execute at their level.
Effectively implement new business acquisition and sales strategies, and tactics to maximize efforts to activate user accounts and acquire new customers.
Drive opportunities throughout the sales cycle to meet or exceed annual targets.
Develop and set KPIs and metrics for the sales team.
Work with Customer Success and Marketing teams to drive the acquisition of active account users.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following :
A degree in Business, Marketing or related field from a reputable university
Experience in sales / business development / product management, preferably in a B2B environment
Experience with selling SaaS products
Experience in leading and managing cross-cultural teams
Ability to thrive in a changing, fast-paced environment
Commercially astute, with developed analytical skills and capable of setting and achieving ambitious sales targets
Ability to network and build relationships with new and existing customers
Be sharp and independent, possess excellent commercial, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent professional written and spoken Business English.
