BOOKKEEPER ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT Our client in the fast-paced professional services environment is looking to employ a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant.
The option of a half day position can be discussed. Main responsibilities involve supporting the financial management function through performing the full accounting / bookkeeping function to trial balance.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Accounting Degree or Diploma
At least 3 years of Accounting / bookkeeping experience
Legal Trust experience (advantageous, but not a prerequisite) REQUIREMENTS :
Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel)
Pastel and WinLaw knowledge (advantageous)
Drivers License with own transport Responsibility :
Processing of bank statements and accounting journals and supplier invoices
Daily processing of trust bank accounts
Preparing monthly reconciliations of all investment accounts
Daily online banking trust and business payments
Management of company debtors and creditors
Bi-monthly VAT preparation and submission of returns
