ROLE OBJECTIVEThe main purpose of this position is to assist the Chef in running a new restaurant outlet at a Historic Site in the heart of Stellenbosch.

We require an experienced Manager that is honest, driven, hungry for opportunity with great attention to detail, operational flair and able to work without constant supervision.

He / sheThe Restaurant manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals.

You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-

service standards.You will also be required to assist in any other of the companys food premises / outlets from time to time.JOB PROFILE

Salary :

Assist in Co-ordinating and managing the restaurants daily flow Must be a hands-on managerStrong business sense and financial acumen to implement financial controls to ensure profitability To monitor and manage service levels to ensure continued service excellence To plan, coordinate and execute events as per agreed company standards Determine and implement service excellence standards and monitor & evaluate outcome Assist in ensuring compliance with all licensing, hygiene and health and safety regulations.

Stock control, stock take and following up on deviations Daily Cash ups, administrative duties, orders, guest / supplier liaison, cleaning & training checklists.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : A recognised Hospitality Qualification (an advantage)At least 2-years experience in working in a focused and driven environment.
