TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES : To increase guest satisfaction by providing efficient, prompt, trouble free and courteous food and beverage service to guest in the Food & Drink Department, in line with departmental and hotel guidelines, and Radisson Blu Corporate guidelines and service concepts.
Serve food or beverages to patrons, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
Collect payments from guests
Write guest food orders on slip, memorize orders and enter orders into Micros
Take food orders for food or beverages
Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
Check correct payments from guests
Write patron’s food orders on order slips, memorize orders or enter into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff
Remove dishes and glasses from the tables and take them to the kitchen for cleaning
Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items m making recommendations upon request
Perform preparation duties such as brewing coffee
Stock services areas with suppliers as coffee, food, tableware and linens
Fill salt, pepper, sugar and napkin containers
Assist in the different Food & Beverage outlets we have available in the hotel REQUIREMENTS :
Yes I Can! attitude, sociable and extrovert.
2- 3 year relevant experience in food & beverage operations Hospitality Diploma would be an advantage
Knowledge of Micros POS, credit cards machines would be an advantage
Service minded and enthusiastic
Able to work in a busy environment with flexible shifts
Strong command of the English language and able to speak clearly, fluently and coherently
Attention to detail and conscientious
Smartly presented and well groomed.
