Our business is striving to become the most loved, respected and successful snacking company in Southern Africa.Job Purpose This role is responsible for leading all aspects of Order to Cash initiatives including processes, policies and tools in the Southern and Central East Africa Region, following industry and company best practices and working in close collaboration with the other functional leads and the Global Order to Cash Lead.

To serve as the voice of Order to Cash Business Excellence implementing the process, best practice, and innovative Order to Cash processes.

The responsibility to drive Transformation and Change Management liaising with MBS Teams and ZBB Teams. Pursuing responsibilities in the context of an end to end Order to Cash, constantly viewing OTC as one portion of an Integrated Supply Chain and understanding the importance of linkage to other processes, particularly sell to customer, distributor and customer replenishment as well as supply planning.

Responsibilities are carried out in a variety of capacities, including internal expert, leader and influencer of change and continuous improvement.

Execution of job responsibilities requires close coordination with the Regional OTC Lead, Business Process Management Leaders, and Project Leaders in Region and IS Project Leaders.

Key AccountabilitiesIn line with the job purpose, key accountabilities will entail the following : 1.Leads Order to Cash process best practice governance : Deliver best in class Order to Cash standards as support in achieving process excellence in the end to end supply chain.

Leads Order to Cash Assessments, with participation of regional CoE support as required through observation of existing OTC processes, observation of Day in the Life , supplemented with guided self-

assessment and key process, input and outcome indicators.Accountable for OTC KPIs : Case Fill Rate, Order Cycle time, Order processing accuracy, Customer Care, DSO, AR, CM accuracy and timeliness.

Together with the Regional OTC Lead, builds the road map for improvement and change designed to engage and enlist the support of BU Leadership and key process leaders.

Uses knowledge of best in class success stories to excite, engage and enlist leaders. Quantifiable benefits identified, including service, cash, cost, invoice percent current, no touch, growth.

Responsible for the design and implementation of processes to ensure that order fulfilment is done with the highest integrity and in accordance with internal audit requirements (ex.

SOX)Ensure that the team both retained and outsourced acts with the highest degree of integrity and complies without exception to the corporate policiesEnsure compliance to Sales Recognition and other relevant Mondelez Policies.

2.Leads Transformation between onshore-near shore MBS and Offshore outsourced capabilities : Together with the Regional OTC Team, defines the operating structure between the onshore and near-

shore / outsourced activitiesMakes sure E2E processes are implemented Engages with the BU’s to identify fit gaps linked to routes to markets, taxes and legal issues.

Operates as the voice of the Market to escalate, document and prioritize exceptionsWorks with internal stakeholders to make sure they deploy OTC E2E processes, supports the transformation roadmap and implement the key KPI’s defined globally for OTCCollaborates with the Outsourced Supplier to make sure OTC E2E processes are fully deployed and KPI’s are implementedDrives the Transformation agenda and makes sure we remain on track with the key transformation deadlines and Innovation roadmap3.

Leads Projects for Order to Cash : Together with the Regional Order to Cash Lead, creates the road map for implementations, in close consultation with Region and BU leadership and CS&L functions.

Drives transformational change for the CS&L function driven by the 3 year CS&L Strategy.Develops the benefit plan and supports development of the resource plan, project team requirements and time line for BU and Region implementation.

Actively participates in Design Workshops and ensures that Regional Requirements are represented appropriately, and that the design is consistent with the Best in Class Model prescribed by the Global OTC Organization.

Ensures that models for ongoing sustainability post-project are in place.Coordinates implementation plan with the CS&L leadership, IS and COE / BPM, ensuring application of best in class tools and approach.

Provides appropriate coaching, direction and guidance for the teams that are implementing the Order to Cash model process and best Practice SAP usage, through governance and participation in process reference groups.

Ensures that input, in-process and output process metrics are included in the implementation and execution phases of Order to Cash standard process and SAP tool.

Ensures utilization and connection to global BI StandardsIdentifies improvement opportunities that are either process or tool driven that can be expanded globally.

Provides regular updates to BU Leadership as to Order to Cash progress, including metrics, and updates of challenges faced.

4.Leads Innovation Pipeline DevelopmentIdentifies and leads the continuous improvement agenda using continuous improvement methodologies owns the SC99 agenda that defines a robust Governance model for managing service as ONE Integrated Supply Chain team and ensures that all levers are appropriately utilized.

Stays close to emerging technologies and capabilities, particularly in the customer replenishment, trade management, promotion management, point of sale, demand sensing arenas.

Identifies break-through opportunities that maximize the potential of integrating OTC to other process areas. Creates business case, justification, and champions change management.

  • Constantly focused on identified opportunities to leverage OTC processes to eliminate touches, eliminate waste, eliminate rework, and maximize labor and transportation efficiency and effectiveness.
  • 5.Report Progress Metrics and Success IndicatorsProvides period updates on key project timelines for Order to Cash process improvement and SAP / other toolset implementation.

    Ensures CFR targets are met via Efficient, accurate Order and Credit Management and Stock Allocation.Leads operational excellence, by leading communication with Customers, Demand Planning, Logistics Operations, Sales, Corporate Quality and Sales ControllingEfficient AR, CM and Collection processActively coaches and mentors junior talent in the course of project and initiative work

    Detailed working knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain.Knowledge of SAP OTC and interfaces to Trade Management, Sales Management, APO and Demand / Supply PlanningKnowledge of emerging technologies and solutions in response to downstream data extremely helpful.

    Knowledge of Process and Tool Application in both Developed and Developing Markets, in Mature and Non-Process-Mature Environments.
