I Introduction :

PSG requires the services of a competent individual to participate in the software development process as a software tester.

The ideal candidate will have previous software testing experience with PHP knowledge in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities & Activities :

You will be responsible to perform testing on development done for the central PSG CRM system. The ideal candidate will have the ability to differentiate between a developer and end user mind set.

It's your job to work as hard as you can to 'break' the new product to help the design process. You'll work closely with software designers and the program manager to understand more about what each function is meant to do, its key features and who will use it.

You'll run functional tests, customer scenario testing, stress testing, performance testing and scalability testing. The goal is to iron out any bugs and improve the quality of the system.

  • Minimum Requirements :
  • Matric

  • Software testing training / experience
  • Excellent proficiency in both Afrikaans and English
  • Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Own transport
  • Good Communication and knowledge sharing abilities
  • A good understanding of the software development process
  • Good writing skills (for documenting the process)
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and at least one other of the official South African languages
  • Advantageous Requirements

  • Diploma / Certificate in IT
  • Financial Services experience
  • Agile / SCRUM experience
