Reports to : Creative Director

The Graphic Designer is responsible for the production and oversight of graphic content, as per briefs provided by the various clients, and internal design as per Cerebra’s requirements.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Craft

  • Applying client CI to work
  • Understanding the role of design for different digital platforms
  • Roll out work under guidance of senior team members
  • Find appropriate stock imagery for campaigns (own or senior team’s)
  • Create beautifully-crafted design and other forms of rich media, within the tone and strategy of the client
  • Ideation

  • Brainstorming on tier 3 and 4 campaigns
  • Working with copywriter(s) where necessary to ensure alignment
  • Strategy

  • Understanding of clients’ tone
  • A grasp of digital logic and implementation
  • Process

  • Understanding of clients’ CI
  • Accurate time logging
  • Backing up work
  • Follow job through each department enabling delivery across teams
  • Qualification

  • A diploma / degree in graphic design
  • Experience

  • 2-4 years experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe programmes (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) a must.
  • Working knowledge of other design software is a bonus.

  • Artistic talent
  • Understanding of social media marketing (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and other platforms) is beneficial
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to function well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Versatility and adaptability
  • Knowledge of and ability to keep abreast of new developments within the social media, digital and creative space
  • Passionate about social media
