Job Details - Job Purpose To lead the strategic interventions within Managed Services by executing on special projects, Intelligent Automation, aligning IT Technology, whilst controlling Change and maintaining quality assurance.

This includes the managing of communication and Management Information as well as Analytics to align to the Standard Bank Managed Services strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Strategy

  • Execute the strategic interventions within Managed Services to execute on special projects, Intelligent Automation, aligning IT Technology, whilst controlling Change and maintaining quality assurance.
  • This includes the managing of communication and Management Information as well as Analytics to align to the Standard Bank Managed Services strategic objectives.Client

  • Guide the decisions made by business to improve client experience and reduce client risk.Financial Management
  • Develop and drive cost management and budgetary control within the business unit to manage operating and capital expenditure.Reporting
  • Analyse and report on project status and metrics to ensure effective project delivery as per agreed project milestones.Data
  • Provide strategic interventions for the business unit to execute on the Bank’s data journeyIntelligent Automation
  • Design, solution and drive the execution of strategic robotic projects supporting the Bank’s digitisation and automation journey to improve efficiencies in the BankTechnology & Architecture
  • Drive the execution of strategic Information Technology Hardware and software projects to align and improve efficiencies in the Bank.
  • Lead process audits across MS to ensure quality assurance and blueprint design principles are adhered to.People
  • Lead the Business Strategy and Enablement Team according to the Bank’s leadership principles and values, including employee lifecycle from recruitment through to exit, performance management, training and development, discipline and grievance management, retention and reward and people administration, to ensure a high performance culture within the Business Strategy and Enablement Team.
  • Drive the business unit’s people business strategy to ensure an effective culture within MS.
  • Lead the Production Change Control and Communication within MS to ensure compliance to internal agreed change governance.Client
  • Foster and engage business partner, stakeholder, vendor and client relationships to maintain business objectives and client service level agreements.
  • Risk, Reg, Prudential and Compliance

  • Drive operational risk controls in adherence to legislative requirements, policies and procedures within area of control to prevent losses and audit failures.Product
  • Execute new products or changes to existing products within Managed Services to ensure effective service delivery Additional Job Dimensions

  • 3 year degree in Business Commerce or Information Technology
  • Project Management certification and Enterprise Architecture
  • Knowledge of ISO experience and / or Enterprise Architecture experience would be a preferred qualificationExperience
  • Experience in Technology and Operations / Managed Services
  • 8-10 years experience in business strategy and execution experience is a critical requirement for this role
  • 8-10 years experience in Finance and People Management experience is a critical requirement for this role The Standard Bank Group has implemented a Vaccination Policy for all roles which require the incumbent to work from the Standard Bank premises on a full-time or intermittent basis.
