The incumbent will be required to direct and coordinate activities of the Scheme to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards and contractual arrangements.

With primary responsibility for the interpretation and implementation of applicable laws, legal codes, government regulations and related information.

The incumbent should ideally already be located in Pretoria or Johannesburg, have experience in the Medical Schemes Industry, and MUST possess a Legal degree or equivalent with

  • Experience in contract management (at least 3 - 5 years).
  • Managing 3rd party recoveries.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and risk identification.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems for managing files and records, transcriptions and other personal information.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, legal codes, government regulations and related information.
  • Skilled in presenting and communicating information
  • Sound Governance, Learning and Research, and Analysing skills.
  • Exposure to the medical scheme industry will be advantageous.
