Senior Demand and Supply Planner
Contract : Permanent
The Senior Demand and Supply Planner(SDSP) will be responsible for providing an optimal demand & supply planfor the finished goods of specific product portfolios.
In this role, the SDSPbuilds the interface between the local commercial teams evaluating and creatinga meaningful demand signal, translating it to a meaningful supply signal towardsthe supply sites with the key aim to ensure stock availability of the rightproducts to the right locations.
The tasks will include performing the Salesand Operations Planning (S&OP) process, demand planning net requirementplanning, inventory optimization, order management / execution (End-
to-End),reporting and collaboration with commercial team and with the suppliers withina matrix local and regional organization.
The SDSP will also be responsible forthe Export markets of the business as well as Independent Distributor.
Provide statistical forecast input and performance data foruse in the S&OP.
Analyze internal capacity and develop plan to align supplyand demand to meet customer requirements.
Evaluate and implement solution and ensure alignment withmarketing & sales in development of the consensus forecast.
Drive the S&OP process for the assigned portfolio andeffectively translate business insights to accurate demand signal.
Implement and operate forecasting software and supportingsystems.
Monitor and report on performance metrics in areas ofquality cost, and delivery in support of the key supplier scorecards andbusiness reviews.
Utilizes multiple statistical models to develop and driveconsensus forecasts for assigned business segments.
Build and maintain a net supply plan on weekly / monthlybasis taking into account the capacity situation at the suppliers and demandvariations in the markets.
Proactively manage supply constraints to minimize the totalbusiness impact. Should identify and trigger implementation of long termsolutions to avoid a reoccurrence of any given supply constraint.
Prepare and participate / lead in RCCP / S&OP meetings onmonthly basis in the light of a balanced long term demand and supply plan.
Determine stock holding policy (safety stock, etc) andmonitor the adherence for given portfolios.
Review lead-times and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) withkey stakeholders to improve supply flexibility and reduce inventory.
Support New Product Introductions (NPIs) & ProductChangeovers to ensure on time supply availability for launch while maintaining optimalinventory.
Create and maintain a strong working relationship withinternal and external manufacturing partners.
Issue Purchase orders (PO) and Forecast to internal andexternal manufacturing sites and monitor the On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery ofthe goods to the final warehouse.
Develop and drive event strategies impacting the supplynetwork set up (i.e. production location transfers, reformulation of products,etc).
Take part in Supply Chain (Re-) design projects to optimizethe end to end product and information flow.
Provide accurate and complete supply planning parameters& purchasing conditions for all SKUs and system maintenance.
Constantly strive to identify improvement initiatives in ownportfolio of products and suppliers.
Set all required Master Data and ensure its integrity andcorrectness.

Master (preferred) of Bachelor degree in Supply ChainManagement, Business economics, Operations or related field.
3-5 years experiences in Demand or Supply Chain Planning andideally in another related Supply Chain field such as Procurement,Manufacturing or Logistics.
Good working knowledge in ERP and Planning systems. SAP R / 3and APO strongly preferred.
Experienced user of MS Office, especially Excel capabilitiesare required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate largeamounts of information leading to sound conclusions for effective decisionmaking.
Able to prioritize within a complex and dynamic businessenvironment.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise way across thedifferent levels of the organization.
First project management skills for SC design related and / or operational projects such as New Product Introductions of Product RollOuts.
A positive minded Team player with a positive mindset andwillingness for change.
Able to coach team members and peers in the spirit of continuousimprovement. Ideally some first people management skills.
A dynamic and self-driven personality, willing to go theextra mile even in periods of high workload.
Fluent level of written and spoken English. AdditionalEuropean language is a plus.
